Membership in BANSEA is strictly by invitation and recommendation by existing members.

Invitation is extended to Angel Investors, who share our vision and will actively engage in activities that promote the development of the business community both locally and internationally.

BANSEA has worked with thousands of Entrepreneurs to fine-tune their business plans and provide mentoring and investment opportunities to fantastic teams and ideas.

Corporate Memberships
The BANSEA membership also extends to organisations that participates, engages and works with the startup ecosystems. The membership account will be tied to the organisation and allows a maximum of four (4) individuals from the organisation to participate in BANSEA events and programmes.

Startup Pitch Day
BANSEA has selected 5-7 promising early-stage companies for our upcoming pitch event. They will present their business plans in front of a selected audience of Angel investors. Investors will receive the pitch materials after registration. The presentations will be followed by a private networking session.

Companies will present their business strategy and participants will have the chance to interact and ask questions. Each company will be given fifteen (15) mins for their presentation and Q&A.
Startup Pitch Day
BANSEA Academy
The BANSEA Academy provides a comprehensive overview of early stage investing for Angels. Working with incredible VCs and Angels with sustained track records, Participants will learn to develop all-encompassing strategies to structure and manage investment deals, allowing them to improve and maximise their long term returns.

BANSEA Funds
BANSEA launched two funds; BANSEA ONE and BANSEA TWO, which pools capital from our network of Angel investors to invest in startups.

Participation of the fund is restricted to BANSEA members only.
BANSEA members participating in the BANSEA ONE Fund have pooled their risks of investing in early stage companies and share in the rewards of the outcomes.
​
The establishment of BANSEA's new investment vehicle "BANSEA ONE (B1)" marks the next step in evolution of its value proposition and relevance in Southeast Asia's (SEA) to the angel investing ecosystem.
​
The move is poised to further develop and foster a vibrant startup ecosystem, leveraging on BANSEA's expertise in building startups. Investors will be granted early access to BANSEA's pipeline of deals and making an active contribution to the ecosystem.
BANSEA Fund 2
BANSEA has just established its second investment vehicle "BANSEA TWO (B2)", which builds on the successful platform established by the BANSEA ONE fund.

BANSEA's B2 Fund has raised more funding than the B1 Fund with the intention of securitizing this capital over a diversified range of startup businesses.

Angel Investor Tax Reduction
The AITD scheme will lapse after 31 March 2020. For angel investors approved on or before 31 March 2020, qualifying investments made during their status as an “approved angel” under AITD will be eligible for tax deduction, subject to fulfilment of the conditions under the scheme. Please refer to the FAQs for more information.

BANSEA actively runs social events with the objective of providing its membership of Angel Investors to network with one another.
Annual Fellowship Dinner
Once a year, BANSEA runs a fellowship dinner where BANSEA thanks all of its members and key ecosystem stakeholders, who have played an important role in supporting our events, programmes, and initiatives. During this event, attendees will be meeting all other BANSEA members as well as meet other ecosystem partners/players in the industry. The main aim is to further create opportunities between the Angel investors and Key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem within BANSEA's network.
